Dayton along with National were the top of the line brands for Huffman Manufacturing of Dayton, Ohio in 1937.The Model DT-1 Super Streamline had a radically styled frame reaching all the way to the back of the rear fender. These bikes were equipped with top-of-the-line components to include the rare Mesinger Airflo saddle, “putter” handlebar stem, dual Delta Silver Ray headlights, Morrow rear hub, Torrington “streamline” No. 15 pedals, and chrome “mesh” chain guard.

This bike is owner restored and over two years was spent researching this bike. A lower level model was purchased to use as an example for the paint color and pattern. Experts across the U.S. were consulted to ensure authenticity. Currently there are only about a dozen 1937 tank model bikes known to exist. Owner: Shawn Sweeney
