Firestone never built any bicycles but did contract with bicycle manufacturers to produce bicycles with their badge for sale in Firestone stores. Among these manufacturers were Huffman, Colson, and Monark. This model was built by Huffman, which later became Huffy, and features sweeping seat and chain stays running all the way to the rear of the bike. This model is a close relative of the Huffman Super Streamline models. Generally the Firestone bicycles were budget models with plainer paint schemes and lower level equipment. The Fleetwood Supremes did feature the rare ‘putter’ handlebar stem, a short chain guard, and an initial tray on the front fender. This bike still wears its original opalescent red paint and has a period correct Firestone speedometer. Owner: Shawn Sweeney
