The Huffman built Twin Flex line was introduced in 1938. The design of the first version was unstable due to the spring locations at the drop outs. Huffman initiated an immediate recall and to date there is only one known bike to exist. The second version placed the springs at the top of the forks and was adjustable to the weight of the rider.
Huffman sold bikes through many distributors and retailers and were built to the specifications of the distributor/retailer. This girls bike was sold though Macy’s Department Store in New York City and is fitted with rare aluminum gothic fenders. Formerly owned by Shawn Sweeney
