1941 was the pinnacle for the Schwinn Autocycle. This year saw many changes that would last into the postwar era including a new style embossed tank, big feather chain guard, and Mesinger B1, sliding rail seat. It should be noted while the tank and guard look similar to the post war pieces they are different. The Super De Luxe was designated as the Model 707 and could be had with every option to inlcude dual drum brakes, locking fork, crossbar speedometer and chrome rack. A wide variety of color options were availble for 1941 and arguably the Traverse green/Robin Eggs blue is on of the most attractive. Owner: Shawn Sweeney
