The Bicycle Museum of America
The Bicycle Museum of America (BMA) located in New Bremen, OH has an extensive collection of bicycles dating from the very earliest machines through modern racing bikes. The heart of this collection is the antiques dating from about 1890-1910. A must see if you are ever in this part of the country.
Monroe Classic Bicycle Show
After a break from COVID the Ann Arbor show moved to the Monroe County Fairgrounds in 2022. Ownership changed as well. The consensus is the new venue is much nicer but the core attributes of the show remain the same. There are both indoor and outdoor vendor spaces and the Classic Bike of the Year show is still held drawing out very rare and desirable bikes each year.

Ann Arbor Classic Bicycle Show
The Ann Arbor show/swap was billed as the “World’s Largest Classic Bicycle Show” and was held the last Sunday in April at the Washtenaw Farm Council Grounds. Paul and Annie Kleppert did an amazing job of packing a whole lotta stuff into about six hours. This show directly followed the Memory Lane Show which made for a about a whole week of bicycle fun. As with everythign else COVID interrupted the show in 2020 and the show changed hands and moved to Monroe. MI in 2022.

Memory Lane Classics
In 2018 Memory Lane Classics closed its doors and the contents of the business were sold during an auction that ran concurrently with the swap meet. The MLC swap has been a staple in the hobby for about 35 years. Both the Spring and Fall swaps are now held at the fairgrounds in Bowling Green, OH. The show is held the first week of May and precedes the Monroe show held that following weekend. You never know what will show up at this show but rest assured there will be some of the best vintage bikes for sale you will ever see in one place. MLC is also something of a social gathering and you will meet many collectors who don’t have an online precesence.
